What is included in podcast editing?

Editing the conversation for pacing: removing false starts, long pauses, crosstalk and off-topic tangents you flag.
Audio cleanup and mixing so every voice sits at a consistent, comfortable level.
A video edit if you record on camera, so the episode works on video platforms as well as audio apps.
Captions for accessibility and silent viewing.
Show notes that summarize the episode for listeners and search.
Short vertical clips: 4 per episode on Essentials, 8 on Growth and 12 on Full Production.

How much does a podcast editor cost?

Prices vary widely across the market depending on episode length, audio quality, whether there is video, and how many deliverables you need. We publish our prices instead of hiding them. See our pricing page.

If you want editing only, without clips or posting, we arrange that as a single service on the discovery call so the scope matches your show.

What makes an episode easier and cheaper to edit?

Clean source audio does more for an episode than anything in post. Record each speaker on their own track when you can, use headphones to avoid echo, record a few seconds of room tone, and keep a quick note of any moment you want cut. When a live producer from our Growth or Full Production packages joins the session, they take timestamp notes during recording, which makes the edit faster and more accurate.

How fast is podcast editing turnaround?
