- Show notes
- The text that accompanies an episode: a summary, timestamps, guest details, links and a call to action. See podcast show notes.
- Run of show
- The planned order of an episode: opening, segments, questions, sponsor or call to action, and close.
- Live producer
- A person who joins the recording to run a tech check, keep the run of show on track, monitor audio and video and take timestamp notes. See live podcast producer.
- Room tone

- Trailer
- A 30 to 90 second preview of a show. See podcast trailers.
