- A hook in the first few seconds.
- Who the show is for and what they will get.
- A taste of the host's voice, and of guests if it is an interview show.
- The release rhythm, such as a new episode every week.
- A clear ask: follow or subscribe.
When should I make a trailer?
Before launch, so the feed is never empty, and again when you relaunch or change the format. A trailer is also a ready-made clip for social media and a good link to send to potential guests.
Can I make a trailer from existing episodes?
Yes. For an established show, the strongest moments from past episodes plus a short new introduction make an effective trailer. For a new show, we record a short script with you.
